The cabañas

CuatroCuatros specially commissioned a hotel of 19 cabañas from Mauricio Rocha and Gabriela Carrillo for this coastal location among the vineyards and mountains, creating a space for those who love the freedom of the outdoors and living life to the full in a relaxing environment.

The architecture and construction materials were specially chosen to blend into their natural context. Contrary to what some people believe, you can still enjoy a lifestyle that goes beyond the traditional and transcends the bounds of technology, and here you can experience a different kind of journey and accommodation to stimulate the mind and sharpen the senses amid extraordinary landscapes and productive vineyards, with all the services of a luxury hotel in the heart of nature.

CuatroCuatros has been designed by Mexican architects who understand the interaction between the land and the landscape, and developed and built by a Mexican workforce. Nestled between the sea, the desert, vines, olive trees, and agaves, yet with a surprisingly temperate climate.

The Cabañas CuatroCuatros were designed by Taller de Arquitectura de Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo in a combination of wood, steel, and cotton fabrics. The camping area has 14 tent-like structures equipped with all the services of a hotel room while still giving a sense of adventure. These cabañas have:

Climate and recommendations

During winter months, temperatures range between 18°C (64°F) and 3°C (37°F), and in the summer between 34°C (93°F) and 14°C (57°F). In the spring and autumn, the highest temperature is 30°C (86°F) and the lowest 10°C (50°F).

The local climate plays an important part of the CuatroCuatros, and throughout the year temperatures are moderate and very pleasant.

Recommendations

Depending on the time of year, we recommend taking suitable precautions for inclement weather – although the cabañas have all the services of a hotel, they are still tent structures.
